East Riding BCC reminders and new chances:

Just thought I would mention a couple of things too many to put as a post so here goes.

The BCC book that arrives in January with the list of BCC regions and meets has a card that needs to be handed to the Group secretary i.e. Me Joanne Taylor at or before the AGM which is being held at Eggborough Village hall on the 7th March 2026 1pm, where you will receive your loyalty card for 2026 Dinner Dance which will be Pocklington Cricket club 20th to 22nd Nov 2026.

When you receive your booklet, it is your responsibility to obtain signatures at ERBCC meets that you attend and as a reward for camping with us it is used to off set the payment for the cost of the meal at 2026 Dinner dance.

This year the committee decided that the dinner dance would be funded by our group to return some thanks to our members for all the support they have given the committee over that last 12 months. So that means that the signatures already obtained would be converted for those who are attending the dinner dance will receive a voucher to allow them to camp at a reduced cost for a couple of nights over the year they can be used at any of or rallies.

I did ring round members that were not booked to try and encourage them to join us for this event, but many had already made alternative arrangements, these members unfortunately have no recourse to any alternative rewards.

The stewards will receive a free ERBCC t-shirt for running Rallies. Stewards are allowed £30 discretionary costs to provide prizes for raffles and bingo etc. that will go on expenses with a receipt as usual.

FOL in Aug 26 all members joining us will receive a free T-shirt for the final day parade, and we will be providing Saturday tea, and the theme is countries of the world, we will discuss the country of our choice at the next committee meeting and what food will be available.
